SC Wind Power Park s.r.l., a fully owned subsidiary by OMV/PETROM, is realising the first renewable power project of OMV Gas & Power. The wind park project in Dorobantu, Romania is implementing 15 pcs Vestas V90 3 MW turbines and will have a planned capacity of 45 MW. The regions excellent wind conditions enable a possible increase of the capacity up to 54 MW.
The wind turbines are placed on 105 m high steel towers, that are fixed on reinforced concrete raft foundations with 19,0 m diameter. On behalf of OMV/PETROM, convex ZT GmbH was responsible for the design review of the foundations and the necessary soil improvement measures.
